There is No Loyalty

with one comment

Expect nothing of another individual except for them to be themselves.

There is no loyalty. There is no loyalty in man. There is no loyalty in religion. There is no loyalty among countrymen. There is no loyalty among soldiers. There is no loyalty even among brothers and sisters. If one were to truly follow the path of their heart and spirit, there would be no need for loyalty, for loyalty breeds contempt. From contempt comes the willingness to allow the fruit of love and compassion to wither, and jealousy and disdain for one’s fellow man to grow out of control.

Seek not the blind loyalty of men, for men are easily swayed by the things they do not fully understand. Rather, allow each man to follow the path of their own heart. In understanding that each person is driven by a light that cannot be extinguished, we can allow the expectations of others and of life itself to fade.

Loyalty rests with One. Loyalty rests with the truth.
