Until We Meet Again

People come into and out of our lives all the time. Some, we will have the pleasure of calling friends, while others we’ll consider acquaintances and still others we will call family. Regardless of what we decide to call the people who enter our lives, they all seem to have an effect on us as we have an effect on them. We all have something to learn from each other, and in some cases, we’ll learn more about ourselves than we could have ever realized. Even though there may be a time where we have to each tread our own path, there will always be a spot for that person in our hearts, if we allow for it.

Sometimes the hardest decision is to realize that we have to walk our own way if even for just a bit. However it does not make any of us any less connected or less a friend, unless our minds have managed to convince us otherwise. And so, goodbyes are never really goodbyes, but more of an “I’ll see you later,” and “Good riddance,” is never a finality, but is more like an “Until we can come to an understanding.” So while I take this road, and you take another, I’m sure we’ll all come together again. Perhaps when we come back together, whether it is tomorrow, or the next day, or in the next life, we can all share our stories of life, and what we have learned from it, and all come to One agreement.
